From 3rd-10th December, donations made to Thrive through The Big Give website will be matched - growing your donation to make an even bigger difference.
Donate NowThe Big Give Christmas Challenge is back and we're aiming to raise more than ever before, with an ambitious £25,000 target!
For one week only, your donation to Thrive can be doubled at no extra cost to you. Helping us to transform even more lives through promoting and providing Social & Therapeutic Horticulture across the UK.
From 3-10 December every donation will make double the difference to the lives' we change, thanks to the support of our match funders The Scouloudi Foundation and the Leisure and Outdoor Furniture Association (LOFA).
One donation, double the impact:
- £5 grows into £10, helping us fund 10L of seed compost for client gardeners to use when sowing seeds.
- £20 grows into £40, helping us fund a set of four ergonomic hand tools; perfect for client gardeners that are recovering from a stroke.
- £40 grows into £80, helping us fund a two-wheeled wheelbarrow to make it easier for client gardeners who experience problems with balance, to move things around the garden.

The pain Al feels every day is tremendous, but you wouldn’t know it. He has been diagnosed with Adult Stills Disease, a rare form of Rheumatoid Arthritis which is causing deterioration in every joint in his body and has targeted his heart. With chronic pain, hip replacements, major heart failure and Post Traumatic Stress Disorder, his journey so far has been incredibly hard, and it will continue to be so. His condition is life changing and life limiting, yet he shares his story with a smile and a renewed zest for life which he found through gardening and Thrive.

When is the Big Give Christmas Challenge this year?
The 2024 Big Give Christmas Challenge runs for one week - starting at midday on Tuesday 3rd December and ending at midday on Tuesday 10th December.
Where do I make my donation?
To be doubled, donations must be made through The Big Give website.
What payment methods can I use to make my donation?
The Big Give website accepts the following cards: Mastercard, Visa, Maestro, Switch, Solo, Delta, American Express, CAF Bank & Business cards displaying the Mastercard logo
Can I add Gift Aid?
Yes, if you are a UK taxpayer, you will be able to select to add gift aid during the donation process.
How is my donation doubled?
We have a match funding pot of £12,500 lined up thanks to our Big Give Champion The Scouloudi Foundation and our Big Give Pledger for the third year running, the Leisure and Outdoor Furniture Association (LOFA). Every donation will be doubled until the pot runs out - reaching our target of £25,000!
