Community Programmes
Gardeners come to us by many different paths. Some are referred by Social Services or support workers, or via another health care professional such as their GP. We also welcome people who come independently or are referred by a family member, school or another charity.
If you are unable to attend one of our programmes we have a database of more than 600 garden projects in the UK and can put you in touch with one nearer to you.
There are many different types of garden programmes but they all use a garden setting and activities to benefit people’s lives. They can be located on allotments, in community gardens or at nurseries, hospitals and even prisons. The services and support offered varies according to the setting and needs of the people in attendance.
