Ian brings over 30 years’ experience working in the technology and communications sector coupled with nearly 15 years volunteering in governance roles in education.
He is currently Chief IT Architect for Vodafone UK and is working to increasingly digitise communications, improving inclusion and enabling customers to access and exploit technology and become more connected.
He has had several voluntary roles as a school governor, most recently with specific focus on students who are disadvantaged or have special needs. Some years ago, he was a volunteer youth counsellor at a counselling agency in Reading.
After visiting The Vyne National Trust property and being inspired by the work Thrive are doing there, Ian wanted to become more deeply involved and he joined as a Trustee in 2021.
