Dave semi-retired after over 40 years working in a variety of largely finance roles, culminating in being Chief Financial Officer of Virgin Money.
Looking for something meaningful to do with his spare time, he came across Thrive. Thrive’s purpose and approach resonated with Dave, having family members with mental health issues and being personally appreciative of the simple benefits of spending time in the garden.
“Despite my wife being a keen gardener (with me as assistant spade operative) I had never come across Thrive before and was impressed by the way their Social and Therapeutic Horticulture (STH) approach can be applied in a wide variety of ways. I am convinced that this approach has fantastic potential and look forward to supporting them in ‘spreading the word’ on STH and helping many more clients over the coming years.”
