The Green Care Quality Mark has been developed by Social Farms & Gardens, with the support of organisations in the green care sector (including STH). The scheme allows members delivering green care services to demonstrate to their stakeholders that they operate a safe, caring, and responsible service. There are over 110 organisations enrolled in the scheme (March 2024) and you can see a map of those involved here.
The Green Care Quality Mark is a sector-wide quality assurance accreditation for green care providers. The Quality Mark shows that providers run a safe, professional organisation and look after the people and animals in their care.
The Green Care Quality Mark helps providers reach the minimum standards expected by commissioners, referral agencies and service users. It is a site-specific annual accreditation and is assessed by experienced green care providers.
