Suzanne from Evolve and Flourish hosted a grief awareness workshop at Thrive, for organisations like ours, who work with people in the local community. It was great to get to know other people at the workshop and talk about how we might work together in the future.

Thrive attended the Together for Nature event, a multi-faith festival for local eco action. The event brought together lots of people from different faiths to learn more about how we can connect to nature and do more for our local environment. MP Liam Byrne and Kamran Shezad from the Bahu Trust were among the speakers on the day. Our stall was next to World Against Single Use Plastic and it was great to learn more about community-based initiatives which are protecting nature. We also met a multi-faith youth group made up teenagers in Birmingham who would like to come and spend time in our gardens!

A group of boys from nearby Camp Hill School who are part of their school's Eco Club, came to visit the garden and learned more about the different ways to measure carbon in trees. They practiced some of their new skills on the trees in our mature garden.

A local GP surgery hosted a wellbeing event with patients and we went along to promote our Growing Out and Carers programmes. Thanks for having us!
