We hosted several workshops this summer covering a variety of different topics including, botanical inks, joyful composting, nature play and art in nature.
It was a joy to host a group from Midland Mencap. We kicked off the session with a mindful tour of the garden and a chance to smell and feel lots of different herbs. We then made bird feeders and propagated some sage. The group also got a chance to try some fresh herbal tea, which some people liked more than others!
Claire from Movement is Medicine hosted a free family event where we got to awaken our body’s natural rhythm, shake, bounce, and dance freely to music! It was great to do this activity in the fresh air and people left feeling uplifted and energised.
