This course will equip participants with the theories and practical knowledge required to begin a client-centred social and therapeutic horticulture programme with adults with a range of learning difficulties including Down syndrome and ASD. Learn to describe and analyse gardens and activities for their compatibility with learning difficulties. Appreciate the importance of assessment and outcome measurement for good practice and sustainability.
