Once a month (usually the first Sunday) we have a group of volunteers who work in The Old English Garden in Battersea Park, helping Thrive to maintain our gardens.
Meet at 10am in The Herb Garden or otherwise come and find us in the Old English Garden where the work will take place. There is no need to commit in advance just turn up for a day of garden maintenance work and bring your family and friends along too.
To find out more please talk to us on 020 7720 2212, stop by our centre on East Carriage Drive, Battersea Park or contact at email@example.com
Volunteer taster day
Volunteer sessions are a great way of discovering more about the work of Thrive.
Learn about the work we do in London and the different volunteer opportunities. After a tour of the gardens you will meet other volunteers where you can learn first-hand about volunteering at Thrive.
If you'd like to attend a volunteer taster session or come on a garden tour please register first and email the team on Battersea@thrive.org.uk
The sales kiosk located in the Main Garden is our small social enterprise where outdoor and some indoor plants are available to buy. Seasonal bedding and perennials are typically sown and grown by our client gardeners in the glasshouse in the Herb Garden (and there is a small sales table in that garden as well).
We occasionally receive generous donations from events, florists and suppliers of other outdoor and indoor plants, which we are able to make available for sale. During November and December, this is where our famous winter wreaths are available to purchase too. Stock is always changing so make sure you visit frequently!
