Notcutts help us thrive!

Colleagues and customers at Notcutts Garden Centre located in Nuneham Courtney (Oxfordshire) have raised over £1,000 for Thrive.

The money was raised by hosting a series of flower arranging masterclasses which attracted almost 200 people.

Notcutts centre manager Jonathan Tew said; "I am delighted that our flower masterclass events were such a success.

"Not only were they lots of fun but they also raised money to support the incredible work that Thrive do. Gardening is a fantastic hobby and for many people can help improve their physical and mental health in a very positive way."

Kathryn Rossiter, CEO of Thrive, said: "Thank you very much to Notcutts for this wonderful donation. The money will be spent on supporting our client gardeners and I am delighted that Notcutts have been able to see us in action when they visited our gardens at Beech Hill to make the donation and were given a tour."

Notcutts has supported Thrive for two years through a range of fundraising activities at all 18 centres nationwide, as well as through the Charles Notcutt Memorial Bursary which enables students to complete an Award in Social and Therapeutic Horticulture.
