We were delighted with the response to this national fundraiser for charities, with the money raised helping us cope with the loss of considerable income as a result of coronavirus.
And your fundraising feats proved you can certainly rise to a challenge.
Supporter and former Thrive London volunteer Rosie Mott put her artistic talents to work for us by drawing 26 portraits in one day!
Here's a timelapse film showing Rosie at work:
This phenomenal feat of creativity and endurance ended up smashing Rosie’s fundraising target of £260, raising nearly £500 for our ‘wonderful’ work! Brilliant job Rosie, thank you!
As if running Thrive isn’t enough, our CEO Kathryn Rossiter has taken up the challenge of running 260 kilometres in 26 days, while husband Jamie spent about nine hours in the saddle cycling 260 kilometres indoors. Together the couple have so far raised a superb £1,600, surpassing both their targets.
Finally, a big high-five to the many people who donated to support 10 Thrive staff members running in virtual relay to each cover 2.6 miles.
Every runner made it home and together they not only ran a full marathon distance but also brought in nearly £2,000 in sponsorship.
Thank you to everyone who took part in the 2.6 Challenge for your inspiring fundraising efforts on behalf of Thrive!
