Flowers in Birmingham Gardens
People in Birmingham will have new opportunities to take time out and enjoy an oasis of calm in the heart of the city when Thrive opens its gardens to the public this spring and summer.

Staff at our regional centre based in Kings Heath Park will be offering guided tours of the gardens every month from April to September.

The tours will take in ornamental gardens and the working vegetable garden that are looked after by our client gardeners and our horticultural therapy team.

Time out

Sarah Bowers, Thrive Birmingham’s Regional Centre Manager, said: `We’d love to welcome as many people as possible on these tours, not only to see our clients’ work, but also to enjoy the benefits of spending time in nature while living in a busy city.’

Great value plants grown in the gardens will also be on sale, with all proceeds supporting the work of our Birmingham centre.

The garden tours are happening between 2pm-3pm on:

  • Tuesday 28th April
  • Tuesday 26th May
  • Tuesday 23rd June
  • Tuesday 28th July
  • Tuesday 25th August
  • Tuesday 29th September

Entry to our gardens is by donation; to book a space, please call our office on 0121 293 4531 or email Birmingham@thrive.org.uk
