Share your photos with us for our 2025 Thrive calendar

At Thrive, we are passionate about the health and well-being benefits of gardening, and we invite you to join us in sharing your experiences. If you have a favourite plant or a tranquil spot you enjoy, we want to celebrate what gardening means to you.

We are looking for images and stories for each month to be featured in our upcoming 2025 calendar, "What Gardening Means to Me." Whether it is a flower on your windowsill, a peaceful garden at sunrise, or a winter morning in your allotment, share what makes gardening special to you. We would love to see images of your garden, local landscapes, or any meaningful place.

By participating, you will also support a worthy cause. All proceeds from the sale of our 2025 calendar will directly fund Thrive’s mission to transform lives through Social and Therapeutic Horticulture and help create awareness.

Closing date: Sunday 11th August 2024

Please send submissions to fundraising@thrive.org.uk.

Submission guidelines and information

  • All photos to be in landscape format (4:3 ratio) and can be an edited shot, newly taken or an old favourite.
  • We can only accept digital images in JPEG format and be of a minimum quality of 300 DPI – most smartphones should be able to produce this quality.
  • Please do not include pictures of people whose faces are visible.
  • We love to hear your gardening stories about what gardening means to you – but as space on the calendar will be limited, please keep them to approximately 30 words. We may need to edit them to fit!
  • You can share as many photos and/or stories as you like but we may not be able to use them all. By submitting them, you grant permission for Thrive to select those that most resonate with our mission and for us to use them in the printed calendar and for promoting the competition and calendar marketing.
  • Anyone can take part – there’s no age limit, and you can submit as many photos and stories as you like (although, as much as we’d love to, we won’t be able to use them all).

If your photo or story is selected, your name will be printed next to it. If you would rather remain anonymous, please let us know when you send them in.
