She is currently a Senior Banker at the European Bank for Reconstruction and Development (EBRD), an international financial institution with the mandate to promote open and sustainable market economies in Central and Eastern Europe and North Africa where she oversees investments in the manufacturing sector. Prior to joining EBRD in 2009, Bénédicte held various positions in structured finance and investment banking at international commercial banks in Belgium, her native country, and in the Netherlands.
Following in the footsteps of her father and grand-father, Bénédicte has had a keen interest in plants and gardens since her childhood. She has completed various short courses in horticulture, garden design and botany. Bénédicte first joined Thrive as a volunteer in Battersea Park three years ago. She is also a volunteer at the Chelsea Physic Garden.
