Pots & petals

The programme is run by an STH Practitioner using the natural environment to stimulate the faculties of sight, smell, taste, touch and sound. The programme has been run in partnership with schools and departments for people with special needs.

The programme builds on intensive interaction through a relaxed and enjoyable selection of interactive activities. The programme supports the fundamental forms of communication such as attention, eye contact, turn taking, play and touch. The young people are encouraged to engage with the natural environment through exploratory play.
