A pumpkin has so many purposes. Not only can you eat them and use them for Halloween decorations, but you can also grow plants inside of them for autumn displays!
To make a pumpkin planter, you can use any pumpkin of any size. However, rounder pumpkins with a flat bottom will make it easier to plant inside.
If you have already hollowed your pumpkin, you can skip to step 3.
Once the pumpkin inevitably decomposes, you can take the plants out and them in another suitable pot or planting container.
There are a couple of alternative methods you can try. Firstly you can place the plants inside a pot and put the pot inside of the pumpkin. Secondly you can place the pumpkin planter on a planting bed, so that when it decomposes the plants will already have a bed ready for them underneath.
