Learn to garden and cook with Thrive

We are running a free one-day workshop on Saturday 10th July from 10:00am-2:00pm at our lovely Trunkwell site in Reading for adults with learning disabilities and their carers, parents and families.

The workshop aims to demonstrate gardening and cookery tasks as well as the use of easy-read resources. These have been developed in partnership with MeTURA to enable people to cook and garden with greater independence.

Participants will be able to experience cooking in our specially adapted kitchen and will get a chance to spend time in our beautiful gardens.

We will ensure that the site and workshops operate in a covid safe way for all those taking part.

Places are limited so if you are interested in attending, please using the enquiry form below.
