This is a short FREE introduction course to ‘Social and Therapeutic Horticulture’ and where it sits within nature-based interventions and activities.

By the end of the course, students will have covered the range of approaches to using horticulture for health, the specifics of an STH programme as well as the principles of social and therapeutic horticulture.

This course is suitable for:

Anyone with an interest in nature-based approaches to health including practitioners, professionals, volunteers, career changers. It will also be of interest to those working in health and social care, GPs, commissioning groups, referrers and funders.

  • Social and Therapeutic Horticulture, the definition of the approach, and the range it encompasses.
