For occupational Therapists or any Health & Social Care professionals who support diverse client groups. This two day course explores the use of social and therapeutic horticulture with clients with a wide range of support needs.

Thrive's Award in Social and Therapeutic Horticulture (STH) Programme Development is period of self directed study during which participants will produce a written description of a year round horticultural programme for specific client groups. Thrive offers a dedicated two day course that provides direct access to this.

Access to the Award is normally via one of our client specific courses on our specialist knowledge programme, however, for Occupational Therapists or any Health and Social Care professionals this course provides learning that builds on existing experience and will explore the uniqueness of using gardens and gardening in therapy. It will also explore the use of therapeutic horticulture with clients with a wide range of support needs in settings that will be familiar to Health and Social Care professionals.
