This blended course explores the different ways of using outcomes and standards to demonstrate the impact of what you do and maximising the outcomes for the individuals, and the wider social impact. From understanding the importance of setting clear aims, identifying your stakeholders and the importance of quality standards.
To demonstrate the impact of their Social and Therapeutic Horticulture projects, and to evaluate their success, practitioners need to be able to collect and analyse information effectively in a way that has a positive impact on their relationships with their clients and funders. You also need to understand the quality of that information that you are collecting (what does it actually tell you?), how to collect it in a timely and effective manner and how to share your findings in a way that is accessing and understandable to others. Understanding the purpose and use of outcome measures will allow you to do just that.
This is a blended course with flexible access over two weeks to all learning materials and staggered live event times to accommodate different learner's commitments to home and work. The schedule can be viewed here. Please note that the number of scheduled live events may be reduced subject to numbers of people on the course.
5-10 hours learning time required for the week including the live events.
