The IPPS is coming to the UK in July 2024. This 16th symposium will run from the 11th to the 12th of July 2024 in Reading, Berkshire.
The theme for this symposium is horticulture for health, from everyday life to professional interventions. Across the day and a half, we will hear from invited speakers and speakers who put forward papers across this theme.
We are excited to confirm the keynote address will be provided by researcher Dr Rachel Bragg, OBE supported by talks by Dr Sue Stuart Smith, author of The Well Gardened Mind and Anna Baker Cresswell from High Ground with further guest speakers to be confirmed. Alongside these invited speakers we look forward to a range of perspectives in relation to the theme being presented by both professionals from the UK and internationally.
With room for up to 200 delegates, this symposium will provide excellent opportunities for learning and networking in our quickly emerging sector. The delegate package includes lunch both days and an evening meal after the first day to enable great learning from conversations and potential new opportunities from meeting representatives from organisations across our sector.
We hope this symposium will mark another step in our journey as a sector. We hope to move towards being fully recognised for the way that we can contribute to improved societal health and acknowledgement of the skills and resources necessary for this to be achieved sustainably.
The symposium will take place at the Crowne Plaza hotel in central Reading placed next to the River Thames and providing a bright conference hall with outside green views.
Further information about delegate places and booking will be on this webpage soon. If you would like to register your interest and benefit from the early bird price of £295 please do complete the form.
