Thrive uses gardening to help people regain confidence, build self esteem and motivation, feel better physically and mentally and create new social networks.
Some people come to our projects but we also venture out into the community.
Working across Berkshire, Hampshire and South Oxfordshire, Thrive has helped people create community gardening projects in the areas where they live, which improved their mental and physical health, reduced isolation and brought people together in a project called Sow & Grow.
As of May 2017, we will replicate this successful programme in Birmingham.
The first Sow and Grow project ran for five years thanks to funding from The Big Lottery.
This is the latest report on the success of Sow and Grow.
