Thrive’s Christmas Decoration Sale

24/11/2009

Thrive is holding a special sale of Christmas wreaths and table decorations at Thrive’s Trunkwell Garden Project, Beech Hill near Reading RG7 2AT on Friday 11 December from 1000 – 1200. Thrive is a small national charity based near Reading that uses gardening to help disabled people.

The decorations are being made by Thrive’s disabled gardeners who come to Thrive’s Trunkwell Garden Project, and are to an exclusive design donated by celebrity florist and Thrive supporter, Simon Lycette. Buying these decorations will make a real difference to the lives of disabled people through raising money to fund programmes to help them through gardening.

Refreshments will be available including delicious mince pies and a cup of tea or coffee. Thrive will also be:

• selling Thrive Christmas cards
• information on joining Friends and Members of Thrive
• demonstrating a new way of buying an unusual Christmas present for the gardener who has everything through Thrive’s new online virtual wheelbarrow of parcels to help disabled gardeners.
