Thrive Opens Herb Garden in Battersea Park

31/05/2007

Thrive will host a celebrity gardening surgery from 2 – 4pm on Sunday 10 June at its award-winning Herb Garden in London’s Battersea Park.

Rob Cassy, garden writer and journalist from The Times and Michele Osborne, garden designer and author, will be answering visitors’ gardening queries from a helpdesk based within the Garden. Tucked away in the Battersea Park Yard, close to Albert Gate, the Herb Garden is made up entirely of plants with a culinary, medicinal or therapeutic use and is an oasis of tranquility in the heart of one of London's busiest parks.

The Garden will be open throughout the weekend from 10am to 5pm on Saturday 9 June and 11am to 5pm on Sunday 10 June as part of London Open Squares Weekend. There will be a range of plants and herbs for sale and refreshments will be available.

In case of queries, please call the Thrive Trunkwell Battersea Garden Project 020 7720 2212.
