Thrive now registered to receive wedding gifts

21/06/2005

Thrive National Office

Thrive is now registered on Wedding List Giving, a service which enables couples to nominate a charity to receive donations instead or alongside a traditional wedding gift list. The online scheme enables couples to ask their guests to donate to their favourite charity instead of buying them a present they don't really need. Once registered on www.weddinglistgiving.com, couples are automatically set up with their own giving page. Couples can choose from a number of charities registered on the site - Thrive can be found under the 'Health' section.
Couples who participate in the scheme in 2005 are given the opportunity to be entered into a prize draw, with the chance to win a romantic first anniversary trip to Venice. In its first year, nominated charities received on average over £500 through Wedding List Giving. For more information go to www.weddinglistgiving.com
