Spring bulbs light up the Thrive garden

16/03/2010

Preparations are well underway for Thrive's entry into this years RHS Chelsea Flower Show a small urban garden entitled 'The Unexpected Gardener'.

The garden, designed by award-winning designer Jo Thompson will show how age or disability need not mean the end to gardening, with useful features such as raised planting beds for easy access, cleverly designed support structures and non-slip flooring as well as a stunning range of colourful flowers and aromatic herbs grown by the gardeners at Thrive. Yesterday, on a beautiful Spring like morning, the first of the bulbs were delivered to the Trunkwell Garden Project and were greeted by a group of excited Thrive gardeners who will now have the task of nurturing them into award winning blooms (fingers crossed).

Keep up to date with all the RHS Chelsea Flower Show and enter our fabulous prize draw in which you could win two tickets to the show and a behind the scenes tour.
