Forest Garden – the UK’s leading manufacturer of timber sheds, summerhouses, garden structures, fence panels and planters has announced its renewed partnership with Thrive for the fifth year running.
"The work Thrive do is truly remarkable. Through gardening, the charity gives people who are less able the strength and confidence to achieve great things.
"We are delighted to continue our support for Thrive and look forward to working together to promote Accessible Gardening," says Nicola Simpson, head of marketing for Forest Garden.
Developed in association with Thrive, Forest Garden’s Accessible Gardening range has been purpose designed for those who need to sit, stand or use a wheelchair to garden eliminating the need to bend and stoop. The collection includes a wide variety of designs including raised beds, table planters and troughs to enable everyone to make the most of their garden.
Forest Garden has recently donated a range of products to two of Thrive’s gardens - Kings Heath Park in Birmingham and Beech Hill in Reading.
Sandy Fitzgerald, business development manager at Thrive, said: "Our partnership with Forest Garden is very rewarding on so many levels.
"Through collaboration, both organisations are enabling those living with an illness or disability to enjoy active gardening and all the associated health benefits. We want to thank Forest Garden for their ongoing support and genuine desire to help us to improve people’s lives through gardening."
