Spectacular garden displays! Wonderful flowers! Arrays of fruit and vegetables - plus advice from top gardening experts - are all on offer to Thrive supporters and members at the National Gardening Show at The Royal Bath and West Showground (at Shepton Mallet in Somerset) from 3-5 September.
One of the special highlights at this year’s event is the Showcase Gardens display and competition which will feature accessible gardens, designed in this case for people disabled by spinal cord injuries.
At the show, one of the designers will be awarded with the opportunity to work with the team who are creating the new 'Jubilee Garden’ – a rehabilitation garden at the Duke of Cornwall Spinal Treatment Centre in Salisbury. The Jubilee Garden will be supported by the Southern Spinal Injuries Trust.
To highlight the wonderful therapeutic benefits of gardening in helping people with disabilities, Thrive supporters and members are being offered a special discount, by the show organisers, on two pre-saver tickets.
To find out more, contact Thrive on 0118 988 5688 or you will find details in the latest Thrive Newsletter. The offer closes on Wednesday 25th August.
