John Lewis Corporate Volunteering Day

10/07/2006

A group of corporate volunteers from the John Lewis Partnership spent an enjoyable day helping in the Thrive Trunkwell Garden Project in early June.

Splitting into four teams the group decorated offices, created a pathway for wheelchair users, fixed a broken style and dug three beds which will be used by some of our younger gardeners.

One volunteer said, “It was great to do something different than my usual days’ work and see the difference we made at the end of the day.”
