Improving Children's Mental Health

08/08/2006

Thanks to Children in Need and the Foyle Foundation Thrive will launch an exciting pilot project in partnership with The Berkshire Adolescent Unit at Wokingham hospital.

The project will create three unique garden areas from which Thrive will run tailored horticultural programmes to support the recovery of children with mental illness and disorders.

This project further affords the opportunity to evaluate the benefits, effectiveness and impact of the inclusion of gardening for this vulnerable group.
