Growing Together research - the results

03/06/2005

Thrive National Office, Beech Hill, Berkshire

Thrive is very pleased to announce the results of the largest piece of research into therapeutic horticulture ever carried out in the UK. For the past three years a partnership between Thrive and Lougborough University has been running the Growing Together project which has been looking at how people benefit from involvement in horticultural programmes. This Lottery Funded research has produced a range of publications and the learning from the research is being shared through a series of dissemination events and press releases.
For more details, please visit the research website www.growingtogether.org.uk where you can download an executive summary of the report as well as an easy English version, specially written for people with learning difficulties. You can also find out how to obtain the full final report and the associated practice guide to promoting social inclusion through gardening and horticulture. For more information visit the Research section on this website, under 'Can We Help you?'.
