Thrive is a national charity whose mission is to research, educate and promote the use and advantages of gardening for people with a disability.

Cultivating Quality

13/01/2006

Thrive's new quality standard launches in February with 5 special training days. The standard is aimed at practitioners in garden projects to introduce Cultivating Quality - 'Thrive Quality Assurance Scheme'.

These Nationwide events will buy you a package of on-going support which will enable garden projects to demostrate accountability and quality of service provision.

Implementation of the scheme will improve quality of service to clients who are at the heart of your project and will help funders recognise gardening as a professional mainstream activity.

Thrive's longer term aim is to bring gardening as a therapy to the forefront of stakeholders within health and social care.
