Thrive is a small national charity that uses gardening to change lives.
We champion the benefits of gardening, carry out research and offer training and practical
solutions so that anyone with a disability can take part in, benefit from and enjoy gardening.

Just 30!

Every year in the UK, around 150,000 people have a stroke and someone has a heart attack every two minutes*.

Thrive’s new programme will show how just 30 minutes gardening a day can help people recover and start to get their life back.

However, for some young people, and particularly those with learning disabilities or special needs, it can be a frustrating, lonely and demoralising experience from which they just want to escape.

We're raising £750,000 to fund the ambitious three-year redevelopment of our Battersea site.

This will give refurbished gardens and new and up-to-date facilities. We will also be able to help three times more disabledpeople than we can today.
