Job Title: Head of Innovation & Marketing
Salary: up to £45,000 per annum

Thrive is a national charity using Social &Therapeutic Horticulture (STH) to make a positive impact in people’s lives. We have offices in London, Reading, Birmingham and Gateshead.
We are recruiting a new member of the Senior Management Team, to lead on marketing, digital strategy, income generation and new project developments.
The Head of Innovation & Marketing will oversee and develop our income generating and promotional activities, ensuring that these support Thrive’s charitable and strategic aims.
Key areas of work will include:
• developing the Marketing and Communications Strategy to ensure our work is known and celebrated, enhancing our profile locally and nationally, and revitalising our website, ensuring strong messaging and compelling content;
• developing and managing an Income Generation Strategy that contributes to the strategic direction of Thrive and that supports the dual aims of increasing the number of people who benefit from our services whilst improving the financial position of the charity;
• developing proposals for new initiatives to generate income and/or increase awareness, including undertaking market research, identification of potential partners and funders, and preparing the appropriate supporting business case.
Reporting to the CEO, the Head of Innovation & Marketing will take responsibility for the Business Development and Training, Education & Consultancy teams, providing line management to the two team managers and working with them to develop and implement their business plans and budgets.

Job title: Trust and Grant Fundraiser
Part time: 24 hours
Salary: £25,000 (FTE)
Location: Thrive Head Office, Beech Hill, near Reading
Thrive is looking for a Trusts and Grants fundraiser to join the operational team at Beech Hill, Reading.
Are you an experienced fundraiser with a proven track record of generating restricted project income? Are you looking for a new challenge? This role could be for you.
The post would suit an enthusiastic individual who can lead the bid writing function for restricted project income. Demonstrable success in trust and statutory fundraising is essential. You will be skilled in researching appropriate sources and able to write impactful and convincing applications, apply quality control, and support the regional teams in their approaches to local trusts. Success will require a creative approach to raising funds as well as consistency and a determination to succeed.

Job title: Senior Horticultural Therapist
Full time: 35 hours a week
Location: Thrive, Kings Heath Park, Birmingham
This is an exciting opportunity to be part of establishing and consolidating Thrive’s work in the Birmingham region. Working closely with the Regional Centre Manager, the post holder will be responsible for leading the delivery of Social and Therapeutic Horticulture (STH) programmes to people who are living with mental or physical ill-health, social isolation, or who are vulnerable or disadvantaged.
Candidates must have a recognised qualification in horticulture, and experience or a qualification in STH or other Occupational Therapy. A NVQ A1/A2 Assessor or teaching qualification is desirable.
