Community fundraising

If you’re part of a Rotary group, the WI, or any kind of community group that regularly meet, you might want to consider inviting Thrive along to give a talk.

We have a dedicated team of volunteers who can passionately speak about the charity and enthrall your members about how we use gardening to help people with disabilities. We do charge a small fee and mileage but if groups raise significant funds for us, we can sometimes waive this.  To find out more or to book a talk, click here.

Other ways to support us could be to adopt us as your charity of the year if the company you work for runs such a scheme, or even your school or college. We can offer ideas on fun and engaging ways to raise funds for us, or could you help us with bucket collections? We can also introduce you to payroll giving and talk about ways of becoming a corporate partner.

We are also grateful for any 'gifts in kind’ that groups or companies may be able to offer, such as items for the garden, including landscaping materials, watering systems, tools, compost, raised beds, subject to the needs of each centre.

Another way to show your support could be to sponsor an event. We are currently looking for sponsors of our Wear Your Wellies to Work fundraising campaign, our annual Flower Show and Open Gardens.

We firmly believe that the best partnerships are forged on mutual benefits and we would be delighted to talk to any company, group, or school who want to help us raise money. We look at PR and digital opportunities and creative ways of really engaging people with our cause.

Talk to Sandy, Hazel, Alyson or Peter on 0118 988 5688 to find out more or email us.
